Dominique Turrentine

Dominique Turrentine is a strategist and culture-builder whose work lives at the intersection of structure and imagination. For more than 15 years, she has helped institutions and leaders translate bold visions into meaningful action. She believes that adaptable, resilient, and human-centered systems have the power to transform the world.

Before joining Fundamental, Dominique shaped strategy and culture on the Strategic Initiatives and Community teams at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, oversaw grantmaking operations on the Democracy team at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and advised a broad range of foundations, nonprofits, and social entrepreneurs advancing social and economic equity across the U.S.

As Chief of Staff, she serves as a strategic partner to the President, driving alignment between vision, strategy, and execution to strengthen cohesion and impact across the firm’s expanding team and network.

Beyond her work at Fundamental, Dominique serves on the boards of the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre and Truly Wicked, Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is pursuing her Executive MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
