William Hernández Luege

PROGRAM ASSOCIATE

William Hernández Luege serves as Program Associate in the President’s Office at Fundamental Philanthropy where he works on strategic grantmaking to institutions that advance justice, equity, and belonging. Prior to joining Fundamental, William worked at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Walker Art Center, contributing to major exhibitions, curatorial research, and exhibition making. He has also curated independent exhibitions in the Bay Area, including for Cube Space, a public art venue commissioned by the City of Berkeley. William holds an M.A. in History of Art from Williams College and a B.A. in Art History and Arts Management from the University of San Francisco. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, writing about art, and following the Los Angeles Lakers.
