Vanessa Soriano is the Executive Assistant to the President of Fundamental Philanthropy, where she manages complex calendaring and serves as a trusted liaison between internal teams and external partners. She brings a broad professional background shaped by her work across nonprofit organizations, higher education, and the legal field.

Prior to joining Fundamental, Vanessa provided high-level executive support to senior leadership in mission-driven organizations, consistently grounding her work in a commitment to equity and impact. She also worked as a paralegal supporting attorneys specializing in Intellectual Property law, an experience that deepened her appreciation for protecting creative and intellectual work.

Vanessa holds a graduate degree in Religious Studies with a focus on how worldviews influence culture and ideology—an academic lens that informs her collaborative, people-centered approach to her work. Outside the office, she can often be found practicing yoga, immersed in a good book, or recharging outdoors, where she draws inspiration and balance.
